Why we built these tools
Preparing an academic manuscript is fiddly work that has little to do with the research itself. Authors routinely have to move a paper between Microsoft Word and LaTeX, confirm that the abstract, keywords and reference list are all present, and tick off a journal's submission checklist before the editorial office will even look at the paper. These free tools take the busywork out of that final stretch.
Everything here runs on demand and in private. Files you upload are processed on the server, converted, and then discarded — we do not keep your manuscript, and you do not need to create an account or log in. The converters are best-effort: they handle the structure of an ordinary article manuscript very well, but complex mathematics, custom macros, and unusual layouts may need a little manual cleanup afterwards.
Scopapers is an open-access academic publishing platform. If you are getting a paper ready to submit, these tools pair naturally with our journals and author guidelines — but they are free to use whoever you eventually publish with.
