Scopapers is operated by Next Labs LLC (United States). This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to every journal hosted on the Scopapers platform.

Information we collect

When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and the academic profile details you choose to provide, such as your title, affiliation, country, ORCID iD, and a short biography. When you submit a manuscript we store the files you upload, the co-author details you enter, and the correspondence exchanged with editors and reviewers. If you make a payment, our payment providers process your card or transfer details directly; we retain only the transaction reference, amount, and status needed to issue a receipt.

How we use your information

We use your information to operate the editorial workflow, to communicate decisions and requests about your submissions, to publish accepted articles together with the author metadata required by scholarly indexing services, and to issue invoices and receipts. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Sharing

Author names, affiliations, and ORCID identifiers appear on published articles and in the metadata we deposit with indexing and DOI registration services, as is standard for academic publishing. Reviewer identities are kept confidential under our double-anonymous review model. We share data with service providers (email delivery and payment processing) only to the extent needed to provide the service.

Your rights

You may review and update your profile at any time, request a copy of the personal data we hold, or ask us to delete your account. Some information attached to a published article forms part of the permanent scholarly record and cannot be withdrawn once the article is public. To make a request, contact [email protected].

Retention & security

We keep account and submission data for as long as your account is active and as required to maintain the integrity of the published record. Access to personal data is restricted to the editorial staff who need it.

We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as your interface language. These strictly necessary cookies are required for the platform to work and are always on.
